SkillNyx is a skill-building and verification platform offering practice labs, assessments, certifications, and collaboration features. By using our products, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SkillNyx.

These Terms may be updated periodically. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account.

Do not share credentials or allow others to impersonate you. Notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized use.

Use SkillNyx only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, circumvent security, or misrepresent your identity or credentials.

Content you submit (posts, code, profile information) must not be harmful, defamatory, infringing, or violate others' rights.

AI and lab usage must respect rate limits, fair use guidelines, and any plan-specific quotas.

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant SkillNyx a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content to operate and improve the services.

All SkillNyx materials (branding, UI, assessments, labs, code, documentation) are owned by SkillNyx or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Do not copy, resell, or redistribute without permission.

Attempts, lab runs, and certification results are personal to you and may be subject to time limits, quotas, proctoring rules, and anti-fraud checks.

We may revoke or invalidate results if cheating, tampering, or policy violations are detected.

Certificates and badges may include verifiable data and may be updated or withdrawn if errors or violations are confirmed.

Plan features and quotas (e.g., Codelab runs, Hardcore challenges, NyxBits credits) are described in the pricing pages. Changes to plan terms will be communicated.

Subscriptions renew per the billing cycle unless cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

NyxBits is a platform credit for eligible features and is not legal tender. Unused NyxBits may expire per plan terms.

All sales are final. Once a plan is subscribed, no refunds or proration apply. This includes situations where NyxBits or plan quotas have been used.

NyxBits cannot be converted to cash or refunded. NyxBits spent will not be reinstated.

If an account is suspended or blocked for cheating, misuse, or policy violations, no refunds or credit reversals will be issued.

Fraud, abuse, or misbehavior may lead to suspension or termination at our sole discretion.

We may integrate third-party providers (e.g., storage, payments, AI runtimes). Their terms and privacy practices apply in addition to ours.

We are not responsible for third-party failures, downtime, or policy changes.

We collect and process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using SkillNyx, you consent to such processing.

You are responsible for ensuring any data you upload is compliant with applicable laws and that you have rights to use and share it.

For B2B customers, we offer a Data Processing Addendum (DPA) that aligns with industry-standard requirements. Contact us to execute a DPA for your account.

We apply role-based access, encryption in transit and at rest, audit logging on core systems, and least-privilege principles for operations.

We do not sell personal data. Third-party processors are bound by written agreements and are reviewed for security posture.

Data residency, retention, and deletion controls are handled per our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the executed DPA.

We employ industry-standard security measures, but no system is perfectly secure. You use the platform at your own risk.

Responsible disclosure: report vulnerabilities to our support channels. Do not publicly disclose before remediation.

Services may be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, or factors beyond our control. We may modify or discontinue features with notice where feasible.

We are not liable for delays, outages, or data loss, except as required by law.

SkillNyx is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, SkillNyx shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or applicable law. You may stop using the service at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use the services ceases, but sections relating to IP, disclaimers, and limitations of liability will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where SkillNyx is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
