RBI held the repo rate at 5.25% in August. Home loan: floating or fixed?

The next MPC review is scheduled for 7 October. For those with home loans — are you staying floating and prepaying when you can, or did you lock in? Has anyone switched lenders for a lower spread, and was the paperwork worth it?
